My days here lately are snow covered in search of a shovel...and busy with too much to do in a day and not enough time to get it done. I am sitting here for a moment at my desk, forgetting what I needed to do when I first sat down so I am watching the sun pass through the clouds dulling the blue sky as more flurries fall. The freezing rain from the past two days has everything coated in a nice, thick layer of ice that is nearly impossible to clear...so fingers crossed it is easier to navigate on tomorrow. Thursday's are grocery shopping days for my father in law so that and a bunch of other errands should fill up my Valentine's Day just fine.
Hubby and I exchanged our Valentine's yesterday because he was anxious for me to have mine...and I can see why. It moved me to tears just reading the first part of his writings...something he Never does.
If you knew my husband, you would know he is a man of few words. For the past 3+ decades he went into the greeting card store and picked out a card that best suited his hearts thoughts. This year, he bought a blank card and filled it with his own. #bestcardever
We grabbed six pink roses last week for the house ( on sale for $5.00 ) as well as a potted yellow rose plant that will be moved to the garden when spring finally arrives.
So as I am sitting here watching the sun play hide and seek I wondered how many Valentine's Day postings have I made that were personal...and not something about Bath and Body Works. Turns out...not too many.
I thought I would share the one I found from 2014. I remember that year well. We got hit with a bucket ton of snow and it ruined everyone's Valentine's Day plans as businesses were closed including the restaurants and the florists could not deliver all of the rose orders they had. I had mine though...from Walmart.... Ha ha.
Wishing you a wonderful Valentine's Day....and every day.
