Life Writing | Thanks A Million!

Written by
May 18, 2013, my dream of having my own space to write whatever I wanted without worry had finally come to fruition. Years of writing on other sites and dealing with the pitfalls that sometimes accompany those keystrokes had finally brought me full circle to what I should have been doing all along.

Life Writing | The Case Of The PR Candles

Written by

There once was a time when a dirty word had four letters.

Lately, all over social media, the dirtiest of words isn't really a word...it is merely two letters.  PR. And the backlash that is happening is terrible.

Life Writing | On Being Connected

Written by
I have been watching my insights this week on my FaceBook postings and there have been two that were making me shake my head at the numbers they are showing.

Now I don't base my postings on what the numbers will show.  The numbers have no part in what I share, and I have posted for years without noticing there even were numbers to look at.  Go figure.

About Me

Written by
Hello! And Welcome...
I am Tess, the blogger behind Life Inside the Page and it is a pleasure to have you join me here.

Why this page you may wonder.

Since I was young, I have always written a paper journal of sorts.  I thought it would be interesting when I am old and grey to sit back and relive my life...just in case I forget.  I truly think of my life as a journal of days.  Every day I wake up, I get the chance to add another page to it as the chapters of my life grow.

Sadly and devastatingly on one ordinary day, my life changed drastically. And for a time I blogged publically as a release of the pain that comes with dealing with the loss of a child; the murder of my daughter Angeline.

I'd like to think that my Faith and the keyboard saved me then.
As I healed I found enjoyment once more in sharing those other things in my life that have inspired me...and here we are.

Some things about me:

You will find I love all things that transform my house into a home.

Nature is what fills my heart with hope and wonder while creating things with my hands lets me release my inner child.
As a child, my mother taught me the value of all things and her love of creating things has spilled in my everyday life so much so that I see something to be created in everything...to live a creative life.

You will find many cameras on me at any given time.  They are an extension of my soul it would seem.
Capturing life's moments as they happen brings my heart so much joy.

I have a love...okay, an obsession with Bath and Body Works products for a very long time now, and I enjoy sharing all of the sneak peeks and insider information I get on that subject.  Before I was writing under this blog URL, I was writing under...Bath and Body Works Insiders.

A very patient man has been at my side for over three decades. I think it's because of his love of food and my love of cooking.

And I have more beauty products than I care to admit even though I believe beauty comes from within.

So that is just a little bit about me...for now.  The rest will be revealed... daily.

Let's Get Started!
Hugs, ❥Tess

Life Writing | Through the keys

Written by

I read something the other day and it has bugged me....and usually when things bug me...I need to write and let it out of my head to move on.

Life Writing | My LIFE Community

Written by

As you have probably noticed, there have been a few changes happening on my blogs.  The page color themes for sure have changed and as far as I am concerned, for the better.  I find these colors very soothing and warm and it truly made me happy that I could get everything to come together and work.

Life Writing | Sometimes The Wind Reminds Me

Written by

There are times I write a lot about a little...and times I write a little about a lot.  I think it's because I have all of these things I want to say and share and in some way it is like my own way of making my mark in this world.

And pre this blog page and some time ago was another blog page and just some simple sharing of a day in my life and the silliness that happened then.

Then one day you wake up and the silliness is gone for a time....and you feel as if you didn't wake up at all.

Life Writing | A Day In A Pumpkin Patch

Written by

Perhaps silly of me to say, I know...I understand, but this is a hard week for us with Friday marking another year anniversary of losing our Angeline.

This visit to our favorite farm's pumpkin patch and being out and around all of this it ...renewed my soul...just a smidge.

It does not get easier - Look at that face, so full of life. But I try to still do those things we all did together as a family. (The photo above was her last pumpkin patch visit).

I walked beneath the bluest sky dappled with puffy, white clouds feeling the sun's warmth on my face...through rows and rows of orange wonder with a fall chill in the air.
It was wonderful. It was a good day.
