Life Writing | Sometimes The Wind Reminds Me

Written by

There are times I write a lot about a little...and times I write a little about a lot.  I think it's because I have all of these things I want to say and share and in some way it is like my own way of making my mark in this world.

And pre this blog page and some time ago was another blog page and just some simple sharing of a day in my life and the silliness that happened then.

Then one day you wake up and the silliness is gone for a time....and you feel as if you didn't wake up at all.

Remembering Angeline

Written by

Sweet Girl.

We remember you today and every day for the blessing that you are and the joy you have brought to our lives.

You are loved and missed beyond words could ever express.

I walked beneath the bluest sky dappled with puffy, white clouds feeling the sun's warmth on my face...through rows and rows of orange wonder with a fall chill in the air.
It was wonderful. It was a good day, your last visit to the pumpkin patch all of those years ago.

Life Writing's | You've Got Mail!

Written by

I woke to the sun this morning, brightly piercing the small spaces in the blinds flooding my room with light. It was time to get up but truth be told an hour later would have been okay with me.  I rose, grabbed my phone and scuffed my feet across the carpet to the windows.

The brisk air that filled the room when I opened the window to snap this morning's picture reminded me that the calendar reads January, not July and I closed it with a shiver. Another cold day ahead. Twelve degrees.

I took on one of the most popular projects on Pinterest, the Spring Carrot Door Hanger, and here is what I created last night...

DIY | Making My Own Minion Halloween Pumpkin

Written by

I wanted something cute and different for Halloween this year so I went on Pinterest for inspiration.  Here is what I found I could do.

It was just after one am and, as per usual, I was still awake doing the last few things that needed my attention before closing out my day.  The air conditioners hum in the bedroom was not drowning out the sounds of the fireworks still booming outside of my window and all I want is to rest my eyes and fall asleep.

While checking out the last few emails that needed attention I noticed an email alerting me to a new backlink on my blog.  What a nice surprise to see that Woman's Day used my 2013 Minion Pumpkin Craft Project for their Painted Pumpkin Ideas for the Best- Ever Halloween Post this past June 23rd.

DIY | Fall Scarecrow Flowerpot

Written by

This past weekend Michaels began putting out their selection of fall greenery and wreaths and while the calendar still reads June, it is never too early to start those autumn craft projects.
